Location

Kamiyubetsu is located roughly in the center of the area along the Sea of Okhotsk, Hokkaido, Japan. Adjacent to the town is Lake Saroma, the largest lake in Hokkaido. Drift ice in winter and the Yubetsu River bring an abundance of seafood and vegetables to the region.
